Good questions.
Can't find what you need? Email sales@zicket.co and the team will come back to you.
Why RFID instead of contactless cards or Octopus?
Speed and control. An RFID tap takes under 2 seconds against around 15 for a card, the system runs without a network, and age rules can block alcohol sales to minors automatically.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Terminals store transactions locally and on the encrypted chip in each wristband, so every vendor keeps trading through a total network outage.
How do guests top up?
Online before or during the event, by scanning the QR code on their wristband, or at on-site top-up stations with cash or card. One person can manage several wristbands from a shared account.
How do refunds work?
After the event guests claim unspent balances through an online portal. We can also set up automatic refunds, or let fans donate what is left to a partner charity.
Is the hardware built for outdoor events?
Yes. Our terminals are professional grade, waterproof and shock resistant, built for festivals, carnivals and stadiums.
